Vegan wholemeal chocolate chip cookies

These vegan chocolate chip cookies are everything you could ever want in a chocolate chip cookie recipe - soft and melt in your mouth delicious!


Vegan chocolate chip cookie that taste like regular chocolate chip cookies


No egg replacer

No chickpeas

No chia seeds

No flaxmeal




Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Total Time: 12 Minutes

Yield: 15 - 17


Ingredients


  • 2 Cups of Wholemeal flour

  • 1 Tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 Tsp salt

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate ( you can you a vegan chocolate bar just make sure to chop it up or chocolate chips)

  • 4 Tbsp milk of choice, plus more if needed

  • 4 Tbsp oil

  • 1/2 Tsp pure vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl, then stir in wet ingredients to form a dough. The dough will be dry at first so just keep stirring until a cookie-dough texture is achieve. If your dough is still dry add 1-2 Tbsp of extra milk of choice.

  2. Form the dough into a ball then refrigerate for 2 hours or until the dough is cold.

  3. Once dough is cold preheat the oven to 170°c. Form dough balls using about 2 heaped tsps of dough. Then place on a greased tray, press down on dough ball to achieve your desired size and shape., leave enough room between each cookie to allow for spreading. Bake for 9 minutes and then flip cookies over and bake for 3 minutes. Let cool for about 3 minutes or just each them straight off the tray like I did.

  4. You can also choose to freeze the dough balls just make sure they are in a airtight container. ( Can freeze up to 3 months).
